This auction is for the 550cfm Rochester 2 jet carburetor (The G550D) that has been modified for racing. I can custom build one to any size up to 700+cfm.I have developed these carbs using a Flowbench and the the continues input of my testers and a customer network of Racers.This carb will NOT pass IMCA Tech
The venturis have Machined  to 1 7/16". Main jets re-taped for Holley jets for ease of re-jetting if needed and come with holley jets installed.The Venturi Cluster is Modified for fuel emulsion for Racing,the accelerator pump circuit is is enlarged for throttle response and the high flow main body gives it the flow when you get it wound up.Large high flow needle and seat installed for enough fuel flow and the largest float bowl gm came out with.A
ll vacuum ports were plugged.All Carbs are tested on a Test engine before i ship'em. All fuel goes through the main jets for better control.Stainless steel screws installed in top and butterflys.These Carbs run like a stripped-assed-ape,milage not so good :-).Not for street use.As of this revision Big G carb owners have almost 300 Feature Wins, and 27 point champs, 9 IMCA State championship. My carbs arn't the prittest but they do run the best.The photos may not be the exact carb,linkage and top may be different but the same work is done to all

I have one of your carbs needing repair, the top was broken where all thread screws in for air cleaner. can you give me an estimate for replacing top of carb ? Also can you tell me about carb from number stamped on it , I bought it used , best carb I have ran.
