ANT. VICT. EDWARDIAN WHITE COTTON BLOUSE W/LACE AND TUCKS

Description

This is an antique Victorian or Edwardian white cotton blouse with lace inserts and tucks. On the front there is a pleat from the shoulder on each side. It closes down the back with 7 small crochet or thread covered buttons as seen in the 10th photo but the top button seen in the 10th photo is out of shape. The sleeves also have tucks with lace at the cuffs with gathering on the top. The front is longer than the front. The measurements are 17" flat across the shoulders, 21" flat under the arms, 23" flat at the bottom and is 21 1/2" long in front and 18" long in the back. The sleeves are 16 1/2" long with an 11" opening. Condition is very good but there are 2 small splits on the front left side middle where the lace insert is about 3" from the hem and seen in the 11th photo. There is also a light stain on the front left middle about 7" above the hem and seen in the last photo. Also the out of shape top button. It has not been cleaned. A nice antique blouse.
