    Description

This week I am listing a small collection of 10 vintage Madame Alexander dolls, and one cloth Cinderella doll, they were purchased in the early 1980’s to the early 1990’s. All of these auctions will start at so they can all find new homes and be enjoyed by a new generation. Some have never been out of the box, some have but are complete unless noted. Several of the boxes have damage, please look at all the photos of the boxes, if there is damage beyond the normal wear I have photographs. I am also listing 3 antique Edwardian or Victorian Blouses for adults, and some antique linen/muslin/cotton clothing for Antique dolls. I washed most of the doll clothing in Woolite, but did nothing else to them. They have been with me for many years, in some cases more than 50. Some will need care others are ready to wear or put on your favorite antique doll. I will be glad to combine shipping, and I accept returns if I have misrepresented anything. My goal is to clean out some of the items in our home, and to have happy customers. Please ask any questions you have, and BEST OF LUCK TO ALL!
This auction is for a beautiful Antique Victorian or Edwardian white linen blouse. This blouse buttons down the back with what I think are faux shell but may be real shell buttons, it has lovely puffy embroidery front and back with 4 pleats on the front and two on the back. The stand-up collar has embroidery as do the lovely cuffs, there is a small lace edge on top of the linen collar and at the base of the cuffs. This is just such a nice blouse I would keep it if I could wear it. There are two areas below the blouse into the lower selvage edge, and on the gathered edge at the base that gets tucked into the skirt with a rust stain. I have not laundered this blouse so I do not know if you can get this out or not, but if you are wearing this blouse it should not show. There is also a very small hole on the front under the collar that does show about 1/8”, but can be repaired. We have had wool and linen rewoven by Italian and Russian seamstresses here, hopefully you might know of someone near you who could do this as well. This blouse measures 15” from shoulder to shoulder. The waist 25” the bust 36” the sleeve from shoulder to the base of the cuff 22” and the length of the back from base of the collar to the gathered base is about 14 ½”. I bought these blouses many years ago to make doll clothing out of, they have been stored away for years, but now need to find a new home with someone who will wear them or use them in a project.
