TESLA CHAdeMO ADAPTER 1036392-00-A CHARGER. Take advantage of the global network of DC charging stations by enabling onboard hardware and purchasing an external adapter. CHAdeMO stations enable charging at up to 150 miles of range per hour. This adapter is specifically for the North American version Model S, and Model X. For Model S without Supercharging enabled, onboard hardware must be activated to use the CHAdeMO adapter. Every new Model S and Model X are already Supercharging enabled.
Note: CHAdeMO is not compatible with Model 3.

Compatible with third-party DC fast charging networks such as Electrify America and EVgo, the CHAdeMO adapter supports charging speeds up to 50kW and works with all Tesla vehicles
(2019.24.1 firmware or later is required for Model 3 compatibility).
Note: Tesla does not regulate pricing or charging experience at third-party charging stations.
Network membership is typically required at third-party CHAdeMO stations. For more details on non-Tesla charging practices, please consult third-party EVSEs directly.

How to use:
For Adapter CHAdeMO USA Tesla we recommend to use the following steps:
1.Plug in the CHAdeMO end of the cable to the charging station
2.Plug in the Tesla end of the cable to the car’s charging socket
3.After the cable has clicked in place you are ready for the charge*
Don’t forget to activate the charging station
When you finish with the charge, disconnect the vehicle side first and then the charging station side. Remove the cable from the charging station when not in use.
