Antique Victorian era dark blue swiss dotted velvet long sleeve peplum hem blouse Size Small!
Not sure if this would be called a blouse or a top layer jacket. Velvet garment with cotton?? backing has a stand collar with very pretty leaf shaped lace trim. Collar fastens with a great metal hook. Wide pleats at shoulders add depth in front. Blouse fastens with concealed hook and eye hooks and has rows of white pie crust buttons in front. Long sleeves that need cuff links, peplum waist.
12 inches from shoulder to shoulder, about 19 inches from underarm to underarm, up to 34 inch bust, 21 inch waist, 19 inches long
A few stains in front and stresses on the fabric. 2 inch tear just below the collar could be repaired by hand. 3/8 inch binding along the hem is loose and hanging in places and it might be best to simply replace it. Large stains on the inside in front that don't show on the front side. Dots have worn off at underarms. Feel free to ask any questions!
