Edwardian Handmade White Irish Crochet Lace High Neck Collar Blouse
This exquisite Edwardian era antique handmade white Irish crochet lace high neck collar blouse dates from 1905. It is made of a white handmade Irish crochet lace with a dense heavily created detailed meshwork, raised three dimensional rosette flowers, floral medallions, vine leaf designs and connecting thread picot ornamented bars. This lovely lace ladies blouse shirtwaist has a high neck collar, long sleeves with tapered point cuffs, hook closures down the back and is fully lined in a white sheer net fabric. The top measures 18 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 32 inch waist, 24 inch long sleeves, a 12 inch back and 13 inch neck. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny frayed holes in the net lining and a cut frayed bottom hemline. This is truly a rare exceptional piece of antique handmade Irish crochet lace wearable art!
